Mayra Flores was born and raised in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where she was instilled with strong family values by her parents and grandparents, who emphasized the importance of putting God and family first. At the age of six, she made the life-changing journey to the United States with her father, who gifted her family the opportunity to become proud, naturalized American citizens.

Growing up as the daughter of migrant workers, Mayra experienced a nomadic childhood, moving frequently to follow the harvests. She spent most of her formative years in the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from high school in San Benito, Texas, in 2004.

Mayra graduated as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and earned a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership from South Texas College. She dedicated years to caring for children and the elderly with chronic respiratory conditions, demonstrating her commitment to service and compassion.

In June 2022, Mayra made history by becoming the first Mexican-born woman elected to the United States House of Representatives, proudly representing Texas's 34th District. During her tenure, she served on the Homeland Security and Agriculture Committees, advocating for the needs of her constituents.

Following her time in Congress, Mayra took on a role as Senior Advisor with the Texas Public Policy Foundation, where she championed vital issues such as school choice, family empowerment, and economic opportunity across the state of Texas.

Jennie Dallas serves as the Strategic Director for The LIBRE Initiative in Pennsylvania, where she focuses on empowering the Latino community through advocacy and education. As a small business owner, Jennie operates JJ Smart Promotions, a marketing company that publishes La Voz Latina Central, a bilingual publication serving eight counties in central Pennsylvania.

In 2024, she led LIBRE Action's  Latino grassroots army that knocked on 50,000 doors and over 100,000 phone calls helping elect U.S. Senator Dave McCormick flip a long-held Democratic seat. Senator McCormick garnered 40% of the Latino vote.

Jennie is deeply committed to community service, holding positions such as Vice President of the Latino Hispanic Professional Association and Vice President of Estamos Unidos de Pennsylvania. 

Civically engaged, Jennie serves on the Cumberland County Republican County Advisory Board and contributed to numerous election campaigns through strategic planning and grassroots efforts. She has also chaired the Hispanic Republican Coalition of Pennsylvania, collaborating with various House and Senate representatives..
