Otto V. Banks
Otto V. Banks is Executive Director of the REACH Alliance & Foundation.
Otto’s extensive background in politics, grassroots efforts, education and training, development and finance has enabled him to serve in a variety of leadership positions both in the public and private sectors of Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.
Before joining REACH, Otto was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic Development for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he worked to bring together the government and the private sector in a partnership to increase the well-being and quality of life in communities across America.
Otto is a former City Councilman in Harrisburg, PA and also served as the Eastern Region Director of Development for Cornell Companies, Commissioner on a Tri-County regional planning commission and represented Pennsylvania on a National Economic Development Policy Committee.
Otto graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg.
