Shawn Steffee began working as a Boilermaker in 2002, serving in numerous supervisory roles throughout his career in the field. In 2017, Shawn was elected as Local 154 Executive Board Trustee and began working actively with the Local 154 LEAP committee. He was appointed Business Agent in 2018 and was re-elected as an Executive Board Trustee in 2020 and was elected Inspector in 2023. Shawn is the Chairman of the Local 154 LEAP Committee and has been at the political forefront of important Boilermaker issues, especially the fight against the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). He is continuing to build a reputation in Western PA as a strong advocate for unions, workers, and the entire fossil fuels industry.
