(Harrisburg, PA) - U.S. Senator Pat Toomey be a featured speaker at the 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conferenceto be held March 31st and April 1st at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in camp Hill (Harrisburg), PA.
The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premiere gathering of public policy conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.
Columnist and social media commentator Ben Shapiro will be the featured speaker at the conference dinner on Friday, March 31st. He will be joined in addressing the conference by Peter Schweizer, author and President of the Government Accountability Institute, CNN Commentator Jeff Lord, State Senator Scott Wagner, Pennsylvania House Speaker Mike Turzai, Tea Party Patriots leader Jenny Beth Martin; Andy Schlafly of the Phyllis Schlafly Eagles; along with Congressmen Lou Barletta, Scott Perry and Keith Rothfus; John Gizzi of Newsmax and Randy Wenger form the Pennsylvania Family Institute.
The 2017 Pennsylvania Leadership Conferencewill feature four interactive panel presentations including: Draining the Susquehanna Swamp moderated by Brittney Parker of the State Policy Network, Policies That Work moderated by Charles Mitchell of the Commonwealth Foundation; And Justice for All moderated by Kevin Shivers from the National Federation of Independent Business-PA; And, Communicating the Conservative Message moderated by political commentator Lenny McAllister.

Pat Toomey, U. S. Senator was elected to the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania in 2010 on a platform of limited government, economic and job growth, and restoring fiscal responsibility. He was re-elected in 2016.
Since joining the Senate in 2011, he has distinguished himself as a leader on economic, financial services and budgetary issues, striving to restore fiscal discipline to Washington and economic opportunity for all Americans.
In 2012, Sen. Toomey helped write and enact the bipartisan JOBS Act, which cuts regulatory burdens on small and medium-sized businesses making it easier for them to raise capital and create jobs.
Sen. Toomey previously served in Congress as a member of the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's 15 Congressional District, where he championed economic growth and fiscal discipline. Honoring his pledge to limit himself to three terms, he did not seek re-election to the House in 2004.
In addition to his public service, the senator has also served as president of the Club for Growth, owned and operated a small restaurant chain in the Lehigh Valley, and worked in the financial services industry.
A graduate of Harvard University, he lives in Zionsville with his wife, Kris, and their three children.
